This American Civilization class was eye opening for me. The lectures were very intriguing and I was always looking forward to the next lecture. We spent a good portion of the class focusing on American slavery and all of the trickery that slaveholders used behind slavery that few know of. We read two amazing books from this time frame as well, Frederick Douglass and Uncle Tom's Cabin, which were both great reads. All in all I enjoyed this class throughout the semester and would suggest it to anyone who is looking for a history credit.
